Anastasija Pudane started her artistic journey whilst attending the Janis Rosenthal Art School in Riga, Latvia, before studying an MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Art.

Anastasija’s current practice takes inspiration from her childhood surroundings, such as reflecting on her memories of Baltic landscapes. She explores her interest in drawing, painting and printmaking using various media, referring to her work as a visual diary that captures a unique moment in time. Themes present in Anastasija’s work include human condition, relationships, life processes, motherhood, birth and death. These are again inspired by her life experience.
