Roseanna Clarke is a final year postgraduate student at CSM, studying MA Art & Science.“Personifying Carnivorous plants- Thinking about seduction and manipulation in the human condition. The plant produces a lushous red colour to entice its prey, similar to lipstick I wear, It releases the scent of a flower like my perfume, I spray. Addiction to power, sexuality, and the relationship we have with attraction and desire. Finding freedom in submission or dominance- Power in altering your own identity and the perception, people have of you- to benefit yourself (in and outside the bedroom). Consuming, digesting, using and defecting the perceptions of others- to nourish yourself. “
The prints that were exhibited in the MERCH sale were all created by final year, postgraduate students, who study the Art Programme at CSM. The proceeds from the remaining print sales go back to not just a shop to support the next generation of new designers.
