Adriana Tabuenca is a London based product designer with experience in interior and retail design. She has just graduated from MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins where she has been developing new alternative materials that can be 3D printed.
For the napkins design, she took inspiration from Spanish references such as the designer Jaime Hayon and the film director Pedro Almodovar.
“In Spain the majority of celebrations happen around a table. We love spending hours eating and talking with our friends and family and I wanted to design a set of napkins that invites you to celebrate these moments . The vibrant colours and playful patterns are inspired by the magic world of Hayón and the bold shapes found in Almodovar’s movie posters. Each napkin has 4 different designs depending on how you fold it, giving the guest the option of choosing the preferred style”.
