“The work Echoes of Innocence uses anime aesthetics to suggest tenderness beauty combined with a nostalgia for a lost childhood. Pionk tones and delicate dreamy elements such as lace and ribbons touches the viewer’s heart’s desire for an innocent childhood and tenderness and beauty. Through the delicate pixel-inspired design, the work creates a saturated and cosy space of childhood fantasy, providing the viewer with an opportunity to temporarily escape from reality and experience psychological comfort.”
