Amelia Johnson is an artists based in Canterbury, Kent, with a focus on papier-mâché and ceramic sculptures. Also using the pseudonym ‘Meelworm’, Amelia creates uniquely characterful worm sculptures that are joyful, quirky, and unique.
Handcrafted in their ex-garage turned studio, these sculptural worms are functional artworks which can be used for holding rings, as a utensil rest or popped into a plant pot for some decoration.
“All my worms are individually hand sculpted and hand painted. I give each of them their own characteristics based on their pattern, size and accessories.”
