A Sunday Christmas by Natalia Makri is one of four winning designs from our annual UAL x Tate Christmas Card student competition. Now in it’s 7th year, we are once again honoured to work with Tate to produce this festive opportunity for our students.
Natalia’s words: “This card was inspired by the idea of spending Christmas with friends who become like family. Coming from Greece, where Christmas is strongly tied to family gatherings, moving to London for my studies made me realise how important friends are in creating that same sense of warmth and belonging. That’s why I called the card A Sunday Christmas, evoking the traditional family Sunday gathering, but reimagined with friends.”
