‘Trace’ A3 Print by Jianru Jiang. Jianru Jiang is a final year student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Art & Science.

Artist description of work: ‘The work originates from my personal experience of metal allergy, exploring the direct conflict and tension between the body and metal. I transform this physical and material reaction into a poetic trace of technological pressure and sensory reconstruction. By overlaying human skin with rust textures, the work reveals a body that constantly drifts between technology and perception.’
