‘River Bed’ A3 Print by Shuhang Luo. Shuhang Luo is a final year student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies.

Artist description of work: ‘Since 2020, I have been using film to capture and develop these fragmented images—traces of my memory and perception. Through recurring shifts and flashbacks, they piece together a personal morphology of remembrance. As time passes, what was once home has become a hometown, and the images have turned into indices of that place now distanced. The flowing river, as a figure of time, gestures toward a bodily presence that can no longer return. The image, as the bed of my memory, lies dormant here—gently drifting back to the far shore of time.’
