“Inspired by my own experiences, much of my artwork explores themes of self-love and self-care, offering positive reminders that people can return to whenever they need them. Combining thoughtful messaging and hand-drawn lettering, each piece is designed to make people feel supported and uplifted.”
What is your favourite aspect of running your own creative business?
I love having the freedom to explore new ideas and create a range of products, from digital work to paper goods. It’s especially rewarding when people connect with my work and show their support. I also love the flexibility to set my own schedule and shape each working day differently

What challenges do you face working for yourself?
I often have many ideas I want to pursue, so it’s important for me to plan carefully and prioritise to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
Working for myself also means balancing many roles, which can be challenging, so I’m still learning to seek support when needed.
What does your typical day look like?
Most days are a mix of admin and creative work. I usually start by printing and packing orders and keeping my online shop up to date, then move into designing new collections. I spend most of my creative time sketching and refining my ideas into finished products.
Can you briefly describe your journey since leaving UAL and setting up your business?
Since graduating from UAL, I’ve been gradually building my business through selling at markets, growing my audience, and developing new product ranges.
I’ve also spent time refining my creative practice and exploring different ways to share my work
with customers, including independent shops and commissioned projects.
Which is your personal favourite product you make?
I love the ‘Centred Self’ card deck. It’s become my go-to on days that feel overwhelming. I often draw a card at random and take time to reflect on the prompt or affirmation, using it to slow down and feel more grounded.
What are your hopes for the future?
I hope to continue growing my creative business by having my products stocked in more retail shops, while developing new collections and expanding my product range. I’m also keen on taking on more freelance projects alongside my product-based work.
