Hi Jessica! What first attracted you to your craft?

I grew up in Devon, surrounded by clay and was lucky enough to do work experience with a local potter.

What is your favourite aspect of running your own creative business?

I enjoy the flexibility and creative freedom

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

I often find inspiration in the industrial landscape of Stoke and I find its referenced in the surface textures and finish of the pots.

Do you have any favourite items in the collection?

I enjoy making the egg cup trays as it’s a different process to throwing on the wheel and it a nice mix of activities.

How would you summarise your collection in a few words?

Material focused. Reduction. Rich tones.

Can you briefly describe your journey since leaving UAL and setting up your business?

Originally from Devon, I was first introduced to working with clay at Hollyford Pottery whilst still at school. I then continued to refined my skills as a potter through my Fine Art degree at Chelsea College of Arts and most recently, Clay College in Stoke-on-Trent.
