Hi Polina! Thank you for taking the time to chat with us.

What attracted you to your craft?

I’ve always been fascinated by collage—it’s all about making quick, instinctive decisions. It helped me break free from overthinking my art practice and truly enjoy the creative process. I started layering colours and shapes to tell stories, and soon realised it was also a powerful tool for processing anxiety and pain. Collage is now an essential part of my life.

What does your typical day look like?

I usually start my day by tackling the most important (or let’s be honest, the most annoying!) admin task, so it’s out of the way. Then, I get to do what I love—creating! I spend time working on new collages, developing projects, and designing products like my Collage Kits. I also make space for engaging with my community on social media, sharing my artistic process. I love every bit of it!

Does your product have an environmental focus/does it support the circular economy?

Absolutely! My collage kits are packed in biodegradable cello bags, so customers can reuse them and cut down on plastic waste. I also ensure my kits use high-quality materials that are made to last. Every little paper scrap left over in my studio gets repurposed into future artworks. Soon, I’d love to explore making my own recycled paper from offcuts.

What is the USP (unique selling point) for your products?

If you’re looking for a way to slow down, clear your mind, and be creative, my Collage Kits are perfect for channelling your ‘inner Picasso’. They offer a hands-on, stress-free way to experiment with art and be inspired by my playful style.

Where do you find / source your inspiration for designs?

I find inspiration in makeup, fashion, personal emotions, and colour. I’m always experimenting with different combinations of paper and shapes. When I feel creatively stuck, I doodle, take myself on an artist date, or even explore Pinterest.

Please can you provide a little more info on how your interest in design started and developed?

I’ve always been a creative kid—drawing comics, performing in plays, and constantly making things. That passion led me to study Graphic and Media Design at the London College of Communication. I’ve always been drawn to analogue because it makes me feel more connected to my inner child. Over time, I found my true passion for collage—the freedom, unpredictability, and deep emotional resonance of the medium just clicked with me.

Do you have any favourite items in the collection?

I absolutely love my Funky Feelings sticker pack. It adds a playful, interactive element to my collage kits, allowing people to experiment with—reminding them that, just like in collage, there are no rules!

How would you summarise your collection in a few sentences, words?

Playful, emotive, bold, and tactile. My collection encourages people to let go of perfectionism, experiment, and unwind through simply making collage.

Does your work have a social impact?

I believe in the therapeutic and expressive power of collage. Through my online presence, workshops and collaborations, I create safe spaces for people to explore their emotions and pain—particularly around topics like mental health and chronic illness. I’ve also organised charity events to raise awareness for endometriosis, a condition I personally experience.

What are your hopes for the future/ where would you like to take your design career / collection?

I’d love to expand my collage kits collection, collaborate with fashion brands, and create educational material available for people around the world. My goal is to make collage more widely recognised as a powerful tool for processing emotions, anxiety and pain, while continuing to build a sustainable and fulfilling career as an artist. Wish me luck J

Any other thoughts want to add…

Art should be fun and freeing! My collage kits are an invitation to let go of perfectionism, embrace playfulness, and just create.
