‘A Short Road Home’ A3 Print by Evie Torkington. Evie Torkington is a final year student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Fine Art.

Artist description of work: ‘This artwork is a silkscreen print of a collage I made from images I took over summer. The images themselves were taken in different areas I travelled to, including Berlin, Edinburgh, the Scottish highlands and London. I spent the summer staying in various temporary locations whilst looking for a new home. I was drawn to impenetrable structures and sanctuaries, reminiscent of my longing for a home. I created the collage intuitively, gaging formal relationships and spatial harmony on the page.’
