Description
Introducing Doudou Huang’s beautiful blanket ‘Breadworld’. Doudou’s pattern is inspired by the art of bread making, something shared by many cultures.
This design was the winning result of a live brief collaboration, working with knit designer Donna Wilson. Students were tasked with designing something that had their own fingerprint but also spoke to Donna’s unmistakable playful nature and colourful design aesthetic. Students were offered insights into what it is to run a profitable product-based business by taking a look behind the curtain at Donna’s buzzy studio in east London. Learn more about the experience here.
The blankets are knitted-to-order in Donna’s very own micro knit factory in Scotland, using the finest lambswool, organically sourced and dyed to create the beautiful hues.
Please allow up to 3 weeks for your blanket to be knitted.
