‘Imaginary Dining Table #1′ 2023 by Kaia Xiaoqi Lin. Kaia is a final year postgraduate student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies.

Artist description of work: “Imaginary Dining Table is a series of work that regarded as my self-portrait. I chose the local meat from the wholesale market in my home country and used them to represent my cultural identity. The fact that me being observed, accepting people’s gazes, the desire of being heard and understood, and the loneliness are visualised on the “dining table” that I created.”

• CSM XMAS Grotto fundraising print sale ran in December 2023. Proceeds went towards supporting the students final degree show
• Now the fundraising sale has ended, remaining print sales will be given back to the MA Art Programmes at CSM who will use the funds to support future students
• Each A3 print is £50
