Printed Receipt’ 2023 by Yuting Liu. Yuting Liu is a final year postgraduate student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Art & Science.
Artist description of work: “When the printing of the receipt is the artistic labor itself, the act of buying puts the work at the intersection of conflict and harmony in the chain of “art – commerce – labor.” At the same time localisation is incorporated into the text printed. What we’re going to talk about is the subjectivity of the artwork in the purchase and the literariness of the description.”
- CSM XMAS Grotto fundraising print sale ran in December 2023. Proceeds went towards supporting the students final degree show
- Now the fundraising sale has ended, remaining print sales will be given back to the MA Art Programmes at CSM who will use the funds to support future students
