Artist Description:

“Origins and Traces contains objects that I collected in 2024. They include ceramics and a game token from the Karafuto period, ammonites and minerals from the Joya desert, volcanic stone from Vesuvius, wood, rocks and shells from Sakhalin Island, and flint from the Margate coastline. This work is connected to my research on vibrant materiality, climate crisis, earthworks, and autistic sensory experiences through the method of grokking.”
