Queen’s Head 78′ 2022 by Mark Burden. Mark is a final year postgraduate student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Art & Science.
Queen’s Head 78 is a limited edition pigment print, by Mark Burden, that celebrates British identity and depict’s the late monarch’s profile portrait seen on a 1978 penny coin, found abandoned in a car par park two days after the monarch died. and observed by the artist using a microscope.
- The prints exhibited in the MERCH sale were created by final year, postgraduate students at Central Saint Martins
- The proceeds from the sales went towards funding the students final year group projects
