‘Relics’ by Canhe Yang (MA in Art & Science)

Artist Description:

“With the development of conscious AI, cultural heritage will no longer be a concept unique to humans, but a co-existence of multiple heritages of humans and artificial intelligence. Due to the long-standing value conflict between tangible and intangible heritage, the two kinds of heritage will coexist and produce value conflict in the future. Through the perspective of AI, this work shows different commemorative props of AI and human beings, which prompts us to redefine the meaning of “cultural heritage” and the way of preservation, interpretation and inheritance.”
