Artist description of work: ‘The Father and Sun explores themes of ancestral guidance and protection within the From Cottons to Clouds project. The solid bronze figure symbolizes the collective strength and resilience of Black people across the world. Hovering, the ethereal cloud form embodies ancestral intelligence, a spiritual force guiding and protecting its descendants.’
