“London venues are closing left, right and centre. In this piece, I celebrate the memory of Canavan’s, the much beloved & infamous karaoke and pool bar of Peckham Rye Lane, which was lost to bankruptcy owing to rapacious landlords and closures during the coronavirus pandemic.”
