Artist Description:

“The title ‘Umbra’ denotes a region of complete shadow resulting from total obstruction of light. But through the darkness we can see two figures are depicted in this work. Stripped to the waist one leans on the head of the other. The eyes of the second glow bright white in the perpetual gloom of this haunting image. black sun, art and alchemy of darkness.”
