Description
‘woman, life, freedom’ A3 Print by Fatemeh. Fatemeh is a final year student at Central Saint Martins, studying MA Fine Art Digital.
Artist description of work: ‘My artwork is inspired by the Woman, Life, Freedom movement (Zan, Zendegi, Azadi), which began in Iran after the death of Mahsa Jina Amini in 2022. This movement represents women’s struggle for dignity, freedom, and the right to define their own identity. Beyond politics, it symbolizes a collective awakening—a refusal to live under imposed definitions. Through my work, I seek to echo this spirit of courage and transformation, where resistance becomes an act of reclaiming one’s authentic self.’
- All prints are priced at £50 and are limited edition works from students across Central Saint Martins Art Programme, including MA Fine Art, MA Fine Art Digital, MA Art & Science, and MA Contemporary Photography.
- 100% of proceeds directly support the artists’ end-of-year group projects.
