As with any 4-year-old, we’re learning big lessons every day. After one of the toughest years for retail, we’re so excited to be reopening our doors to you on 6 October!
That’s right, we’re open again for in-person shopping next week, shortly after we celebrate our 4th year of being an award-winning enterprise learning and retail space run by the University of the Arts: London (UAL). Over the past 4 years, our customers have helped us support 211 UAL students and alumni artists and designers who have sold their incredible products through our shop. We’ve also hosted over 80 events and 245 enterprise one-to-ones with our students. We aim to support their journeys from students to entrepreneurs. Last year, we adapted how we showcase our incredible makers with our Instagram ‘Meet the Maker’ and DIY videos. We also moved our shop online during the pandemic. Despite the shop being closed for almost a year and a half, we’ve sold over £17,800 worth the products!
