‘The Flower is Always in the Almond’ by Arianna Birattoni. The A3 print was part of Standpoint’s fundraising print sale, sold exclusively at not just a shop.
The Flower is Always in the Almond, is a journey into the self through a perspective of feelings and senses. Visually attempting to recreate the space between walking and dreaming, the project explores some predominant tensions in the artists current stage of life. Memories and present, inner child and growth, stillness and turbulence, body and absence.
- Standpoint fundraising print sale ran in June 2023. Proceeds went towards funding activities to support Standpoint’s graduate degree show, and to help sustain the collective beyond university
- Now the fundraising sale has ended, remaining print sales will be given back to the BA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography course at London College of Communication, who will use the funds to support the future students
- Each Standpoint A3 print is £50
