Description

HOME is a live brief for students and graduates, designed to take them from idea to production, making them feel at home with what it is to run a product-based business or launch a product.

Working with Jordan & Russel, founders of interior design studio 2LG, students and graduates took part in a 6-week programme of talks, workshops and financial support to create products ready for market.

Yuan’s inspiration: “My cultural background naturally shapes the way I design. For this project, I combined the quiet ritual of reading with imagery drawn from Chinese culture. Rather than using traditional motifs literally, I wanted to create a calm and familiar feeling that could be shared across different cultures.”
