Kali Tiruneh is one of eight selected UAL students and graduates who took part in the HOME Live Brief, led by Lecturer in Professional Development Zoe Tynan-Campbell and supported by industry leader 2LG.
Kali is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, sculptural ceramics, and abstraction. My practice explores embodiment: how lived experiences can be translated into visual form.
“I am interested in allowing photography to move beyond the printed image and be translated into collectible and design objects. I hope to continue developing a practice in which art and design can meet without one becoming secondary to the other.”
