Description

HOME is a live brief for students and graduates, designed to take them from idea to production, making them feel at home with what it is to run a product-based business or launch a product.

Working with Jordan & Russel, founders of interior design studio 2LG, students and graduates took part in a 6-week programme of talks, workshops and financial support to create products ready for market.

Poppy’s inspiration: “My practice explores colour, materiality, light, and space through painting and sculpture. I wanted to bring these ideas into an everyday object, inspired by architecture and the way light shifts across surfaces. Using spray-painted strips of tape, I created a collaged design of gradient bands that create a subtle optical effect, almost oscillating across the fabric.”
