Description
‘A glance from the corner (I)’ by Dian Joy. This print is edition number 2 of 10.
Dian Joy (Dian Nathan-Marsh) is a final year postgraduate student at CSM, studying MA Fine Art. “‘A glance from the corner’ is the second part of an ongoing experiment with generative adversarial networks, more commonly referred to as machine learning. It caricatures the anxieties that follow anthropocentric frameworks of human-machine encounters, culminating in a series of prints that pastiche a traditional painterly aesthetic.”
The prints that were exhibited in the MERCH sale were all created by final year, postgraduate students, who study the Art Programme at CSM. The proceeds from the remaining print sales go back to not just a shop to support the next generation of new designers.
