Description

HOME is a live brief for students and graduates, designed to take them from idea to production, making them feel at home with what it is to run a product-based business or launch a product.

Working with Jordan & Russel, founders of interior design studio 2LG, students and graduates took part in a 6-week programme of talks, workshops and financial support to create products ready for market.

Cerin’s inspiration: “My design is derived from the notion of being away from home and the feelings felt as if you are leaving a big party. My illustration shows a community after a big party. The party is over, people are leaving, and clearing the table. They are taking their pots back, and the towels with which they wrapped around hot pans to carry to the festivities mere hours ago. You take the memories back with you, while holding the towel.“
